“Natural Alpine Cheese” is an initiative from Rachael Sills and Käseswiss. Rachael saw the beauty and excellence of cheese produced during the summer in the Alps - but also became aware of the fragility of this culture of cheesemaking in a world that is surrendering to industrialisation of production. The aim is to share insights and give Alpine cheesemaking, alongside the culture of Alpine life, greater exposure to consumers who might not be aware of these cheeses and their makers.
